Baildon Rd, Grey Lynn

What began as a run-down student flat, our interior design client had a unique vision and we worked closely with her to create something spectacular. Even with challenges like lockdowns, material supply chain issues, and covid illnesses, we transformed this tired structure into a warm, inviting 4 bedroom, two bathroom, functional family and entertaining oasis.

It’s specialty features included a stunning designer kitchen, scullery and powder room. A dream entertaining space with large timber sliding doors, outdoor fireplace with louvre roof and custom privacy screening.  This all wrapped around a circular designed pool and lush tropical garden. The end result speaks for itself.

Argyle St, Herne Bay

This is a busy home and the renovation, worked within the existing footprint providing relaxed and flexible spaces. The spaces are multi-purpose merging effortlessly from one to the next, comfortably flexing in response to changing needs - whether just the family or entertaining friends and family.

The kitchen has become an oasis of calm, with the use of natural materials and a beautifully crafted battened ceiling running the length of the multi-purpose space.

The garden is on show everywhere in this space, its feels light, generous and welcoming to be in whether you’re working in the kitchen, reading a book in the comfortable window seat or having coffee with friends.

Cooper St, Grey Lynn

This property was an old workingman's cottage in Arch Hill/Grey Lynn. Our client had the vision to reconfigure the existing structure and extend to create a private, open-plan oasis. Access was difficult so some creative thinking was needed to excavate and remove waste. Conveyor belts were used to transport tonnes of soil and debris from the site. The gable end windows and floor-to-ceiling glass sliders helped to create a light-filled modern home with luxuries including Italian tiles, stone bench top, and fireplaces inside and out.

St George's Bay Rd, Parnell

This St George’s Bay Rd project was a series of townhouses developed on a challenging sloping site. It was heavily retained to optimize the beautiful harbour views and northerly aspect. This modern 4-bedroom townhouse featured engineered oak flooring and stylish aluminium joinery creating many different spaces for the family to enjoy across different levels.

Swainston Rd, St Johns

This project was for a family who was quickly outgrowing their home. The concept was to extend the existing house to optimize the sun-drenched north-facing aspect and create an open-plan space with good indoor and outdoor flow. The large modern kitchen and double sliders opening onto the deck created a fantastic space for their young family to enjoy.
